Odds of winning depend on the current eligible number of subscribers at time of drawing. Each month, one (1) subscriber will be randomly selected to receive a $250 prize. One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries by 12:00 pm on the 3rd business day of each month starting in August through October 2027. Pelican will notify the potential winner via the phone number used to subscribe. The potential winner must respond within three (3) days of notification. If a potential winner does not respond in time or is determined to be ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected. One (1) prize of $250. No substitution or transfer of prize except at Pelican’s discretion. Prize may be claimed at a local Pelican branch (or delivery coordinated by another method determined by Pelican). If the prize is not claimed within two (2) weeks of notification, an alternate winner may be selected. By accepting the prize for the $250 Pelican Pays Text Giveaway, you agree that, if selected as the winner, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded by Pelican Credit Union in order to claim the prize. You further grant Pelican Credit Union the right to use, re-use, reproduce, broadcast, publish, edit, or prepare derivative works, in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other information, photographs, or recordings, on any of the Credit Union’s websites, social media platforms, YouTube channel, or in any other public or private medium for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to education, promotion, advertising, videos, and other marketing (the “Permitted Uses”). You also authorize the Credit Union to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and/or statements in connection with such Permitted Uses.
