Louisiana Purchase Zoological Society Movie Night - Monroe
Pelican is proud to sponsor a series of family-friendly movie nights in partnership with the Louisiana Purchase Zoological Society at the Monroe Zoo. These events will feature educational films designed for children, offering a fun way to learn about wildlife and conservation. Families are invited to enjoy an evening at the zoo, explore the exhibits, and connect with nature.
2nd Annual Lions Awareness Day & Back to School Drive
Join us for the 2nd Annual Lions Awareness Day & Back to School Drive! This free event is happening from 9AM - 1PM on July 18th. It is a great opportunity to prepare for the upcoming school year! Free backpacks and school supplies will be given out while supplies last!

Ascension Parish’s biggest back-to-school event is coming soon—and you won’t want to miss it!

Kick off the school year with Aloha at Feliciana’s Health & School Readiness Luau!
In partnership with East Feliciana Public Schools, this free community event helps students get ready for the upcoming school year with essential school gear and supplies available while supplies last. Families can also enjoy drinks and treats, browse local vendors, and take part in exciting water activities.

Join us for the City of Hammond Back to School Bash where students can prepare for a successful school year, helping them start off equipped and ready to thrive! This event will take place at Hammond Westside Montessori School! Come out to enjoy games, great food, and a fun-filled day for the whole family!

Join us at the Donaldsonville Back 2 School Bash that will feature a school supply drive designed to help families access the essentials that students need when that first bell rings. Families are encouraged to attend, get a haircut, gather school supplies, eat some food and win some prizes!

Baton Rouge Parents Cover Kid
If you have children ages 2–17, they have the opportunity to be selected to appear in the pages of Baton Rouge Parents Magazine! Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival
The Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival is a free annual event held in downtown Natchitoches, Louisiana, celebrating the area’s famous meat pies with live music, food vendors, and family-friendly entertainment.
Pelican will be a sponsor at the festival, hosting a table where attendees can stop by to connect, enjoy giveaways, and learn more about our services.
NELA Next Young Professionals Conference - Monroe
Pelican will participate in the NELA Next Young Professionals Conference, connecting with current and emerging leaders in the Monroe community. Through a dedicated table and giveaway items, Pelican will engage attendees and build relationships with potential future partners. Attendees will need to register in order to attend this event.
