Food Bank of NELA Empty Bowls - Monroe
This annual Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana event raises funds to support hunger relief for underserved individuals. Guests will choose a bowl to take home as a reminder of the empty bowls in the community. The event features local restaurants, live music, a silent auction, and more. Pelican team members will be volunteering in support. All proceeds benefit the Food Bank’s hunger relief efforts across Northeast Louisiana.
Career Ignite Youth Conference - Lafayette
Career Ignite Youth Conference 2026 is a free event for ages 16–24 to explore careers in healthcare, IT, and manufacturing. Join Pelican on June 5 at UL Lafayette for workshops, guest speakers, and professional development opportunities designed to jumpstart your future.
Northshore Robotics 2026 STEM Fest
Join Pelican at the Northshore Robotics 2026 STEM Fest! This event brings together students, families, local organizations, and businesses to celebrate STEM, showcase robotics and connect the Northshore community. We hope to see you there!
United Way's Hit for Hope Golf Tournament - Alexandria
This is an annual charity golf tournament hosted by the United Way of Central Louisiana in partnership with the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe and Paragon Casino Resort. It is a major fundraiser aimed at supporting ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) programs that help working families in central Louisiana meet essential needs like childcare, housing, food, and healthcare. Team members from Pelican will be in attendance handing out food, snacks, and other information about our services.
Slidell Heritage Festival
The Slidell Heritage Festival will be celebrating its 28th year in 2026, and we hope to see you there! The festival is a great day of family fun held at Slidell’s Heritage Park. Vendors and food trucks will be offering great options for sale. Drinks will be available for purchase. The line-up will provide musical entertainment, followed by a fantastic fireworks display!
Ascension4 Youthfest

Back 2 School Bash - Donaldsonville
Join us at the Donaldsonville Back 2 School Bash that will feature a school supply drive designed to help families access the essentials that students need when that first bell rings. Families are encouraged to attend, get a haircut, gather school supplies, eat some food and win some prizes!
